The 2016 Regatta was organized by Jerry Wagner-Wachtel of Environment Canada & Climate Change Canada, Water Surveys of Canada and held at the St. Mary’s Main Canal on Sept 12 & 13.
The teams participating were: Alberta Environment & Parks (Mark Potvin & Salina Perry), Alberta Agriculture & Forestry (Lawrence Schinkel, Brian Cook & Evan Hillman), Water Surveys Canada, USGS Helena Montana(Scott Whiteman & Norm Midtyng), Golder & Associates, Saskatoon (Jamie Hogan), Hoskins Scientific/SonTek (Frank Van Der Have & Kevin Labbe), St. Mary’s Irrigation District (Al Mills & Scott Marose).
Two awards were presented for each day following the Regatta. Closest to Mean Average and Best Precision. All awards were presented by Jerry Wagner-Wachtel of Water Surveys of Canada.
